Unmatched Tranquility

This was a special project and not something you get to be a part of very often, a family home accompanied by a stylish inn and bath house. Three cabins were built opening out onto the untouched forest in front. The walls and ceilings are lined with fir to add to the warmth of the interior finishes. The Onsen bath house has a stainless steel tub for soaking and is open across the back of the building, the entire building is clad in cedar with a beautiful vaulted ceiling of large exposed fir beams. The main home is simple and elegant, incorporating Japanese style with a sunken living room and entrance way, the fireplace and kitchen are the focal points with hickory cabinets and fir walls throughout.
